ABOUT ME:

Hi, friend! I'm Jana— stylist, salon owner, and the heart behind Poiema Parlor. My husband, Martin, and I are the proud owners of this space, and we’ve poured so much love into creating a salon that feels warm, peaceful, and a little like home. We live in Azle with our sweet labradoodle, Bonnie June, who keeps life extra joyful and can't stop wagging her tail!

When I’m not behind the chair, you can usually find me outside hammocking or kayaking on a sunny day, browsing antique stores for treasures, or enjoying slow mornings with a good cup of coffee. I’ve always been passionate about creativity, connection, and making people feel seen—and hairstyling brings all of that together for me.

The Parlor is my ministry as much as it is my career. I truly love getting to know each person who sits in my chair and helping them feel beautiful, inside and out.

While I love all things hair, I have a few favorite specialties that light me up:

• Bridal Styling – There's nothing like being part of someone’s most special day. I love crafting elegant, timeless updos and romantic waves that highlight each bride’s natural beauty and personal style.

• Custom Color – Whether it’s soft dimension, bright blonding, or a bold transformation, I love using color to enhance your features and reflect your personality.

• Extensions – There’s something magical about helping clients achieve their dream hair—whether it’s for fullness, length, or both—with seamless, natural-looking extensions.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays from 9:30am-6pm

Saturdays from 10am-4pm
